The honest verdict
Viewers love it. An edge-of-your-seat and mind-bending mystery film, best on your own. Bacurau, a small town in the Brazilian sertão, mourns the loss of its matriarch, Carmelita, who lived to be 94. Days later, its inhabitants notice that their community has vanished from most maps.
“Good from beginning to end”A viewer review
Heads up: some sexual content, a lot of violence, some strong language and a lot of scary scenes.
